Location and Getting to Chiayi Prison

Getting to Chiayi Prison：

By airplane:

After getting to Chiayi Airport, it will take about 20 minutes to get to the prison by taxi traveling along expressway No.82 toward Shuishang.

By train:

After getting to Chiayi Station, it will take about 30 minutes to travel by bus to Puzi City, and from there you can get to the prison by taxi. You can also take a bus from Chiayi City to Lucao Township but it will be difficult to find a taxi there that will take you to the prison.

By Taiwan High Speed Rail:

After getting to Chiayi Station, it will take about 15 minutes(7 to 8 km) to get to the prison by taxi.

Driving to Chiayi Prison:

1.By National Freeway No.1(Sun Yat-sen Fwy)

Drive to the Chiayi interchange 272K, then go to expressway No.82(do not exit at Lucao). Exit at the exit marked "SiangHe 14K" next to the incinerator then turn left. Turn left again onto country road No.167 and you’ll arrive at the prison in one minute.

2.By National Freeway No.3(Formosa Fwy)

Drive to the Shuishang interchange 300K, then go to expressway No.82(do not exit at Lucao). Exit at the exit marked "SiangHe 14K" next to the incinerator then turn left. Turn left again onto country road No.167 and you’ll arrive at the prison in one minute.

3.By Provincial highway(The 1st Taiwan Provincial Road):

Go along provincial highway No.168 through Shuishang toward Puzi, and turn left onto country road No.167 when you are left of the police office. Turn left again and you’ll arrive at the prison in one minute.
