As the cold winter and year-end approach, Abbot Liaokong Wuyun and Master Shi Yinzhao of Zhenru Chan Temple visited the correctional facility to host the "Year-End Winter Warmth Red Ribbon Inmate Care" event. The activity aimed to embody the compassionate spirit of Buddhism, providing both spiritual and material support and care to the inmates identified with red ribbons, bringing them warmth and blessings.

The event featured lively singing performances by the inmates as a gesture of gratitude to Abbot Liaokong Wuyun and the monastic members of Zhenru Chan Temple in Chiayi City for their long-term care and encouragement toward the red ribbon inmates.

For many years, Zhenru Chan Temple in Chiayi City has been dedicated to supporting and caring for inmates in correctional facilities, allowing them to feel the love and support of society. Deeply moved by this support, many inmates expressed their determination to transform their positive energy into the motivation to reform and start anew, with the hope of embracing the new year with a renewed outlook.
