To welcome the arrival of the Lunar New Year and create a warm and festive atmosphere, the Chiayi Prison of the Agency of Corrections, Ministry of Justice (hereinafter referred to as "Chiayi Prison") has organized a "Lunar New Year Environment Decoration and Beautification Competition." The event aims to encourage inmates to participate in beautifying their living and working environments, sharing the joy and hope of the New Year through this activity. The competition not only showcases teamwork, creativity, and collaboration but also allows inmates to experience the festive spirit through various creative designs and decorations.

Supervisors from different departments serve as judges for the competition. The evaluation criteria include creative design, overall decoration content, and the performance of cleanliness and orderliness in the environment. Such activities demonstrate the correctional institution’s dedication to rehabilitative efforts, aiming to instill positive values in inmates through diverse programs and pave the way for their successful reintegration into society in the future.
